The General Assembly of OLACEFS constitutes the highest instance of the organization and meets annually, having the Court of Audit of the Republic of El Salvador as host for this year.
By organizational regulations, prior to the start of an Ordinary General Assembly, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the organization is held, whose mission is to review the administrative matters that will be discussed during the Assembly. Such meetings will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.
During the XXIX Ordinary General Assembly of OLACEFS, which will take place between October 16 and 18, 2019 in San Salvador, El Salvador, the participation of auditing entities from around the world is expected, as well as international cooperation organizations and other stakeholders in the superior audit.
The topics around which the technical work of this General Assembly will be developed will be: “Application and legal validity of electronic signatures and electronic documents in the audit process” and “Improvement of the institutional integrity management, relevance in SAIs and in the public sector.“
In this context, the event will be an excellent opportunity to address these issues, assess the progress made by our regional and global control community, and determine future actions to be taken.
