In line with its responsibilities, the OLACEFS Presidency, which is under the administration of the Superior Audit of the Federation of Mexico, as part of following up on achieving Goal 1 to “develop a financing and sustainability strategy”, from the 2017-2022 strategic plan, has prepared a document called “Cooperation in kind in OLACEFS, results of the 2017 consultation”.
The document is based on the results of a questionnaire completed in November and December 2017, the aim of which was to identify the main areas and type of support offered by SAIs in in the context of OLACEFS technical cooperation. Fifteen full-member SAIs participated, namely: Belize, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.
Contributions in kind include the following aspects:
- The target of support provided
- High preference topics or fields for SAIs
- The main cooperation in kind schemes used
- Factors that have played a part in bringing about support
- Collaboration mechanisms with other international organizations
The OLACEFS Presidency (PresidenciaOLACEFS@asf.gob.mx), has made the findings available to members and the different working bodies of the organization.
