In the eighth session of our OLACEFS Webinar cycle, we will talk about Artificial Intelligence and Big Data analysis, and it will take place next Wednesday, August 26 at 12:00 in Santiago (UTC -4). The session will address issues related to the advantages and limitations of Big Data in government audits and the different experiences in relation to the integrated analysis of data in the evaluation of government management and the arrest of irregularities in the use of public resources, among other relevant aspects.

In this session, we will have the participation of:

  • Lourdes Sánchez, Senior Specialist in Financial Management at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
  • Carlos Mamede, Auditor General of External Control of the Federal Court of Accounts of Brazil.
  • Emilo Barriga, Special Auditor of Federalized Expenditure of the Superior Audit Office of the Federation of Mexico.
