We extend the most cordial invitation to the entire SAI community, stakeholders and the general public to participate in the fourth cycle of our Webinar Cycle in Times of COVID-19, which begins on Wednesday, June 10 at 12:00 p.m. in Santiago (UTC-4) where we will address the topic Impact of the pandemic on the SDGs.

Faced with the current health emergency, it is more relevant than ever to not leave anyone behind. The situation of developing countries is a matter of particular concern. The spread of the virus to these countries will further weaken the macroeconomic landscape, where debt accumulation has outpaced income growth, even before the crisis. In this session, we will address the challenges and effects of coronavirus on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

In this eighth session of #WebinariosCOVID19, we will have the participation of the leading panelists:

  • Aránzazu Guillan-Montero, Senior Governance and Public Administration Officer, Division of Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of UNDESA.
  • José Oyola, International consultant specialized in the formulation and execution of 3E audits and adoption of good internal control practices in government entities.
  • Sebastián Gil, Capacity Building Manager for the OLACEFS of the IDI.
