Coping with the Covid-19 Pandemic facing the world, the Amazonas State Court of Accounts (TCE-AM/Brazil) invites everyone to the Web Symposium “Post-Pandemic Challenges: Reflections on the Global SDG Agenda,” with the intention of defining guidelines for a post-pandemic scenario for the Amazon, and for the world.

The web symposium will take place on Friday, June 5, 2020, at 9 a.m. in Manaus, Brazil (UTC -4), when World Environment Day 2020 is commemorated.

The event will be attended by renowned specialists in the legal, academic and scientific fields, such as the Minister of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) of Brazil, Herman Benjamin; judge and advisor of the Court of Accounts of Portugal, Helena Abreu Lopes; representative of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), Tassilo Von Droste; the Executive Secretary of the Global Forum of Governors for Climates and Forests – United States, Colleen Scanlan Lyons; professor of the University of São Paulo (USP/Brazil), Dr. José Galizia Tundisi; Minister of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro (TJ-RJ/Brazil), Elton Leme; as well as other prominent specialists.

Each panelist will have 15 minutes for their presentation and then discussion will be opened for questions and answers for one hour.

It should be noted that the web symposium will have simultaneous translations into English and Spanish.
