In the context of the coordinated audit on renewable energies of the Public Works Working Group, the Federal Court of Accounts – Brazil (TCU), is organizing an International Seminar on Renewable Energies, which will be carried out on November 26, at the TCU facilities, in Brasilia, Brazil.

It should be noted that the holding of this event and the Coordinated Audit on Renewable Energies in the Electricity Sector was developed with the technical and financial support of the German Cooperation, through the GIZ, within the framework of activities of the regional project, Strengthening External Control in the Environmental Area.

This seminar seeks to present the main results of OLACEFS’ coordinated audit on renewable energy, discuss the expansion of renewable energies in the Brazilian electricity sector, in Latin American countries and in the Caribbean region, and to thus also provide reflections on the future monitoring of public policies for the expansion of renewable energies in Brazil and Latin America in a context of sustainable development.
