The Presidency of the OLACEFS Citizen Participation Commission (CPC) extends an invitation to participate in the Webinar “2030 Agenda and Gender – the role of SAIs in monitoring Sustainable Development Goals”, where background on the gender-focused audit will be presented along with regional challenges to progress in implementing SDG 5 in the area of gender and other issues.

The event will be held on Friday, March 31 at 1.00 pm (Buenos Aires, Argentina time, GMT-3) and will last for approximately 1 hour.

Speakers will include:

  • Osvaldo Rudloff, Head of the International Cooperation and Relations Unit at the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic of Chile and the OLACEFS Executive Secretariat; and
  • Lucia Martelotte, Deputy Executive Director of the Equipo Latinoamericano de Justicia y Género, ELA, (Latin American Justice and Gender Team).

Participating could be very helpful given that this is the first of a number of pre-development activities for the Coordinated Audit on Gender, planned for 2017, and as such it would be advisable that participating officials be linked to that procedure.
