The Superior Audit Office of the Federation of Mexico is pleased to invite OLACEFS members and stakeholders to follow a live transmission of the 6th International Seminar, “Power, Corruption and Impunity: an agenda with a focus on rights”, taking place on October 19 and 20, 2017.

The transmission starts at 9 am, Mexico City time.

The seminar aims to reflect on the challenges facing Mexico to consolidate strategies for combating corruption and impunity in a country scarred by abuse and social differences.

The International Seminar is being organized by the Superior Audit of the Federation of Mexico, CIDE, FLACSO Mexico, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Universidad Iberoamericana, the Secretariat of the Public Administration, the Accountability Network, and others.

There will be two keynote addresses, four panel discussions and four workshops on tools to combat corruption.

We would like to highlight the participation of Ms. Nancy Elizabeth Barra, Regional Comptroller of the Second Metropolitan Comptroller’s Office, Chile, on Panel I, “Tools for accountability, the fight against corruption and impunity: concrete cases”, to be held on October 19 at 11:10 (Mexico City time) and Mr. Lawrance Evans of the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO), on Panel III, “Financial and Institutional Intelligence in the Fight against Corruption” at 15:10.

It will be a pleasure to share this forum for reflection with the OLACEFS community.

WE’LL SEE YOU THERE!
